Overview
Pelio is a sports place finder for Finland. The app helps people discover nearby courts, halls, fields, gyms, pools, ice rinks, and other sports facilities from one map-based interface.
The core idea is simple: instead of searching separately across city pages, Google Maps, booking websites, and facility registers, Pelio brings the important details into one place so users can decide where to play faster.
What It Does
Pelio lets users:

- View results as a synchronized list and map
- See grouped facilities under one real-world venue
- Check address, website, phone number, opening hours, ratings, directions, and booking links when available
The finder is the main product surface. It combines a searchable result list with an interactive MapLibre map. Selecting a place in the list focuses it on the map, while map interactions can update the visible result context.

The finder is the heart of Pelio. It includes:

On desktop, the layout is split between list and map. On mobile, the map is prioritized with a result panel designed for smaller screens.
